” Your pirate guides arrive for the evening, Patch and also a second Patch. These two lively pirates are great pirate hosts for the evening. After greeting you they open up the dessert and snacks buffet filled for hungry pirates. Cotton Candy, ice cream, cake, drinks, small snacks like pretzels and chips, and of course a whole treasure chest filled with gold doubloons, chocolate in currency. We also spotted some Pirates and Pals cruise boats that sounded like a lot of fun. As the sun set, we arrived in front of the Magic Kingdom to some amazing views of everything lit up.

Each boat comes with your own personal driver, who is an expert at navigating you through Bay Lake to Seven Sea Lagoon. When you check in, you are introduced to your captain, they will escort you down the dock to your boat, and assist your boarding process. We met at the Contemporary Resort Marina, about an hour and a half before fireworks began, to check in.

If you’ve had a cream puff before, then you get the general principle behind this dessert. It was a puffed pastry shell filled with vanilla pastry cream crusted in red cherry-flavored sugar.
