The Grand 1 begins at a cost of $349 per hour, so it would be a truly special experience to be onboard this yacht. Cruises for Magic Kingdom’s ‘Happily Ever After’ fireworks display can set sail from either the Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Contemporary or Fort Wilderness Marinas. Guests will need to arrive 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the start of the fireworks show. At points during the fireworks show, we found it hard to see (or hear) any other parts of the show besides the fireworks.

Note that these are the only food and beverage options included with the cruise, but you’re also allowed to bring your own food and drinks (alcohol is allowed) if you’d like to. For example, if you were planning on booking the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party for your family, that will cost you $99 per adult. A Specialty Fireworks Cruise starts at $399 per night (that varies depending on the season - the number of people in your group doesn’t affect the rate at all) and that price covers a party of up to 10 guests. The cost of a private specialty cruise starts at $399 plus tax for a maximum of 10 people plus a boat captain on a 25-foot yacht.

” Your pirate guides arrive for the evening, Patch and also a second Patch. These two lively pirates are great pirate hosts for the evening. After greeting you they open up the dessert and snacks buffet filled for hungry pirates. Cotton Candy, ice cream, cake, drinks, small snacks like pretzels and chips, and of course a whole treasure chest filled with gold doubloons, chocolate in currency. We also spotted some Pirates and Pals cruise boats that sounded like a lot of fun. As the sun set, we arrived in front of the Magic Kingdom to some amazing views of everything lit up.

As we traveled on, we got to pass some of the gorgeous resorts located on Bay Lake. We saw The Contemporary, Animal Kingdom Lodge, The Grand Floridian and the Polynesian. There are no words to describe how they look at night, all lit up, reflecting in the waters beneath them. Each boat comes with your own personal driver, who is an expert at navigating you through Bay Lake to Seven Sea Lagoon. When you check in, you are introduced to your captain, they will escort you down the dock to your boat, and assist your boarding process. We met at the Contemporary Resort Marina, about an hour and a half before fireworks began, to check in.

We'll be keeping an eye on the status and will update this post should it become available again. Soft drinks and a limited selection of alcoholic beverages are available for guests 21+. You'll sail on the Seven Seas Lagoon about 50 minutes before the fireworks finale sparkles in the sky. Watching from the water was unlike any way I have ever viewed the fireworks before. It was absolutely breathtaking to watch the glittering fireworks rain down over the castle, with the lagoon lighting up with the reflection of colors.

They had signage for where to check in and load at the docks. In the past I have seen the private boats pull up under the bridge by France and watch from there. And keep in mind these cruises can be done to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks or the EPCOT fireworks. Now, jumping into the “dessert” part of this dessert party, we headed over to the buffet tables to scope out what they had to offer. The filling was very good and creamy with that tart bite you expect from key limes. The buttercream on top was a fun touch too (there are even tiny edible flowers!).

Most people won’t keep those forever, so the cookie kinda makes sense, but it also doesn’t feel as “ooooooh! All this said, one thing that HASN’T changed is the price — it was and remains $100 a person. Much like the cupcakes, these were nothing particularly special, but still hit the spot.
Disney Fireworks Cruises offer a unique and intimate way to enjoy the magic of Disney’s fireworks shows. Whether you’re a Disney veteran or a first-time visitor, a fireworks cruise is a magical experience you won’t want to miss. Wishes is my favorite nighttime show at the Walt Disney World Resort, I could watch it a million times, I have already watched it hundreds of times, and it never gets old. While watching right in front of Cinderella’s castle is the preferred viewing location, out on the Seven Seas Lagoon is my 2nd favorite. If you have little pirates or mermaids with you that do not necessarily like the loud noise of the fireworks when watching in the park, this is a great option to try. As you board and say good bye to Captain Hook and Mr.Smee your adventure starts on sea with Patch as your guide.
As you sail out to the fireworks viewing location taking in the views, there is pirate tales and getting to know the other mates on your boat! Soon enough you are in front of Magic Kingdom with an ideal view for Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. There is no need to worry about missing the music that accompanies the show, because it is played through the speakers on the boat as soon as the show begins. Pricing may vary based on time of day and is subject to change. Guests are asked to arrive an hour and 15 minutes prior to fireworks start time.
You can reserve this special pirate cruise starting 90 days in advance via your My Disney Experience account or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. When you arrive at the marina, you’ll first meet your captain for the evening, review the rules, get the kids fitted for life jackets, and then you’ll board the boat. These pontoon boats are very spacious and feature plush, comfortable seating.
If you’ve had a cream puff before, then you get the general principle behind this dessert. It was a puffed pastry shell filled with vanilla pastry cream crusted in red cherry-flavored sugar. However, instead of being a Cherry BOOM, it was more like a Cherry…boom. It just didn’t have enough filling and the cherry flavor barely there. On the back, there are Mickey lenses that turn the fireworks into Mickey shapes!
